Why do people drive miles to a health club just to walk on a treadmill?

I walk everywhere since I gave my car away to charity 2 years ago.

It's a refreshing feeling. At least for myself I: Eliminated pollution, the dependance on oil and one less strain on the health system.

It would be nice if everyone could do it.

Cell phones breaking the silence in public libraries.

I'm in the library on a daily basis. I use the libraries computers to write my blogs. I use the computers to upload my digital photographs.

The library allows me to check out a digital camera for the day.

The library is my haven for silence and peace. But it was broken when a loud mouth chatter box was carrying his unintelligent rabid conversation for the entire library to hear.

The sound was deafening. Everyone in the library was upset. The sanctuary of peace and quiet was broken.

So was the jaw of the man on the cell phone. After many warnings from the librarian to take his conversation to the exterior of the library, the librarian lost her patience.

The man on the cell phone ignored her. At one point he said 'Shhh!' because she was 'interrupting' his conversation.

It was all so fast. The librarians fist came around the corner and swiftly hit the man in the jaw sending him into several carts of library books. The man hit his head and lost his memory of the incident.

The eyewitnesses pretended that nothing happened and we went back to reading and using the computer.

Isn't life beautiful?

Silence is golden.

Cell Phones = Mind Numbing Torture

I don't like cell phones. Now I realize that people need it, fair enough. Especially for emergencies, or business. But I can't stand it when people need to use it wherever they're at, it doesn't matter if it's at a restaurant, or in a bookstore, or (gasp) in a bathroom.

Why do people need to yell into their cell phone? Do they think that they're important and people will take notice because they're having a thrilling conversation?

When I was in Japan several years ago I noticed that commuters on the subway and trains would try to lower their voice while they had a conversation on their cell phone. They respected their fellow commuters. But not here in the U.S. People seem to be on a mission to see who has the most annoying cell phone conversation.

Even here in the mountains where I live, not a day goes by where I'll here some hiker shouting into his/her cell phone. I was amazed that they could receive a signal.

I guess I simply can't escape it.

There is no such thing as peace and quiet.

Empty remodeling for the invisible personality.

I have noticed that wealthy people are always remodeling their home. Why is this? It's not because I'm jealous. I pity their empty lives.

Why do these people want to their parade their home as though it is a museum. The person resembles an empty vessel of life adrift ashore in a battering storm with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Spoiled children of the wealthy are in my opinion the most useless creatures on this planet we call earth. Chances are most of them have drug and alcohol problems by the time they're in high school. By the time they graduate these invisible containers have been in rehab an average of 12.2. times.

I'm sure that a starving child in Africa or India would be grateful for just a morsel of what these spolied brats get on a daily basis.

Yet the parents of these empty brained children continue to build their 'Mc mansions' to fill their lives with more invisible and meaningless garbage.

I really do pity them, as I live here under the stars in my thoughts. Tonite I will sleep well.

Empty. The Image is not here.

Photo not available.

No, it's not a technical problem. The image is you. The empty room is your life. Full of empty promises and dreams. Promises of new years resolutions that will fade with the emergence of spring. False promises of wealth.

Your life is worse than imaginable. You clutter your life with false assumptions.

Meditate. Think clearly. Breathe the fresh air. Live in a tent. Stay away from negative influences that will cloud your judgement. Stay away from modern medicine and rabid talk shows.

Stay away.

Stay away from society.

Stay away from modern ills.

Stay away from your 'present self'.

Accumulate your thoughts and live free.

Assume yourself.
